Help with interpreting the standard

THIS PAGE IS IN DEVELOPMENT -WATCH THIS SPACE!

The standard was written in 1922 and some of the wording is hard to understand. This page offers some help and advice on interpreting the standard.

A great deal of advice can be found in the articles in the Feathered World Yearbook section of this website.

1. The breed standard says legs should be green. It used to require willow green.

2. What is the Marsh Daisy "type"?

It is often said that "type" is the most important characteristic to achieve. Perhaps type is easiest to understand by looking at the photos section of this site, which includes both modern day photos and photos from the Feathered World Yearbook.
